These settings are for Planet
Broadband members using a Planet Broadband Email account, if you use a different
email provider, please contact them for details on how to configure your email
1.Click
Tools > Email Accounts. Select Add a new email account > Next

POP3 > Next

At User Information fill Your Name and E-mail Address.
At User Information fill in
Your Name
: Your Own Name
Email Address : Your Planet Broadband Email Address
At Server Information fill in
Incoming mail server (POP3) : mail.planetbroadband.net
Outgoing mail server (SMTP) : smtp.planetbroadband.net
At Logon Information fill your Planet Broadband account details
Username : Your User Name (Usually firstname.lastname)
Password : Your Planet Broadband Password
4. Click on "
More Settings..."
and under the tab "Outgoing Server"
tick
the box that says "My outgoing SMTP server requires authentication"
tick the box for "Use the same settings as my incoming mail server"

Click Finish

All done, you can start sending emails with your NEW Planet
Broadband Account
