What equipment is needed for Planet Broadband Triple Play Service?
As part of your Planet Broadband Internet Access, we will provide you with a BPL PlugLink Modem. The PlugLink modem provides conversion from Powerline transmission to Ethernet Data UTP cable.
Note: The PlugLink equipment is the property of Planet Broadband and must be handed back to Planet Broadband when you stop using the Planet Broadband Internet Access
To share Internet connection, you can use a Broadband Router or Wireless Router. These can be purchased directly from your Planet Broadband office
To use Planet Broadband Phone service, you need an IP Phone. (SIP based)
To watch Planet Broadband Television, you need IPTV-STB (Set Top Box).Note: All of the above mentioned equipment can be purchased directly from Planet Broadband, just ask your local Planet Broadband representative or call your nearest Planet Broadband Office.
What Broadband Routers are supported by Planet Broadband Internet Access Service?
Planet Broadband support the following PPPoE Broadband Routers for sharing internet connection. You can purchase one of these routers preconfigured through your local Planet Broadband office
